Support the Wives of Wounded Soldiers from the "Iron Swords" War

On October 7, 2023, Israel endured a devastating and unimaginable attack, forcing the nation into an existential war. IDF reservists from all walks of life responded heroically, defending their homeland with courage and sacrifice. While the reservists’ mobilization was critical to the nation's defense, the immense burden placed on their families at home quickly became evident. Never in Israel’s history have reservists been called to serve for such an extended and intense period. Consequently, the profound impact on the wives and children of these reservists has largely been overlooked by both the state and society.

In the absence of their partners, the wives of reservists are left to shoulder a significant burden—emotionally, physically, and financially. Among the many challenges that surfaced during this war, the lack of adequate support for the wives of reservists injured in combat stands out as particularly severe. These women face daily challenges in every aspect of life. They manage the medical and physical rehabilitation of their spouses, assume sole responsibility for running the household and raising children, address the emotional difficulties of the entire family arising from the injury, and, simultaneously, strive to maintain their professional careers to avoid financial hardship. To meet these challenges, they must summon extraordinary physical, emotional, and financial resources.

Hands Up

Le’tzidech
By Your Side

With deep insight into the unique needs of these women, the "Le’fros Kanaf" organization has created the "Le’tzidech” program, which means “By Your Side". This initiative provides these courageous women with a supportive framework and the tools needed to grow from the profound personal crisis they are enduring.

As part of the program, ten groups of wives of injured soldiers will be formed across Israel, each consisting of 15 women.

Over six months, each group will undergo an empowering process that includes:

  1. Four inspiring in-person gatherings, allowing the women to  recharge their emotional resilience.

  2. Professional one-on-one guidance in a variety of fields, including parenting coaching, legal advice, rights advocacy, financial consulting, career counseling, and customized services to meet the needs of each participant.

  3. Three personalized gift packages, sent to each participant's home, reminding her that she is not alone and that others care for her and support her from afar.

We warmly invite you to take part in this vital initiative.

Stand beside a woman whose partner was wounded in the war by contributing $678, which will cover her participation in the program.

Every donor will be paired with the wife of a soldier and will receive their name and their story. Likewise, the supported woman will receive the donors details, and her story, fostering a deep sense of mutual solidarity and human connection. If both parties wish, a direct personal relationship can be established between the donor and the recipient.

The number 678 symbolizes our collective journey from crisis to growth.

The 6 represents October 6th, a day that marks disintegration and infighting, on the verge of internal collapse.

The 7 represents October 7th, a day of tragedy, devastation and one of the darkest chapters in modern Jewish history.

The 8 represents October 8th, the days following, a time of awakening, unity, renewal, and growth for the Jewish people.

Join us in standing alongside women who have paid a heavy personal price in the wake of this national crisis.

The $678 donation reflects a consciousness of shared Jewish destiny and mutual responsibility. It is one woman supporting another—physically and spiritually. We are in this together, each covering different battle fields. The support, care, comradery and the values are the fabric that will bind and mend our people.
